After the success of Paciclica by bike for Peace 2007’s edition, the National Board FIAB recognizes the award «Amico della Bicicletta» 2008 to the organizers and decides to promote this cycle-event to a national level. The crucial moment of the cycle-event for all the associations of archipelago FIAB and ECF who will join to Paciclica 2010, will be the collective rise at Perugia. These participating associations will have to reach by themselves Ponte San Giovanni (Perugia’s FFSS train station) the day before the Perugia-Assisi march, or rather Saturday 15^th may 2010 at 16.30h (4.30h. pm). Please respect this schedule as we all cyclists will direct there all together to climb up again the ramps of approximately 8 Km to reach the center of Perugia. Here will be the UN People’s eighth meeting.
Route to reach Perugia - Bicitalia: as it is FIAB’s proposal, in Italy exists a net called Bicitalia which has to be an integrating part of Paciclica 2010’s project. Here you will find the Quaderno FIAB by Claudio Pedroni about the Bicitalia project (2Mb, PDF).
